Cancerdialysis dynamic ketogenic conditions within minutes!

Just found an almost archeologic reference to how dialysis without glucose in dialysate effect the metabolic conditions in dialysis patients during dialysis. Despite a breakfast before the dialysis the levels of ketones rise to levels expected after 48-72 hours of fastening/or starvation. Most surprising is that dialysis patient does not show symptoms of either hunger or hyperglycemia. Se table below.
This is what we believed would happen if CancerDialysis would be done when liver glycogen still is present (as in above). We believe that the situation will change significantly if glycogen (the glucose store in the liver) is exhausted. Then, the liver will need to shift gear to production of mainly ketones and we predicts that ketone levels may rise significantly higher to levels closer to starvation after 2-3 weeks and glucose levels toward 2-3 mmol/l in plasma.
